Bio

My name is Roslyn Saunsoci and I’m from the Umonhon Tribe of Nebraska. I was raised on the Umonhon reservation all my life and graduated from Walthill Public School as valedictorian in 2017. I’m the second oldest of five children and come from a single household. After graduating high school, I attended the Crazy Horse Summer Program and earned 12 college credits before starting my post-secondary education at Clarkson College. I attend Clarkson College, which is a private college in Omaha, majoring in nursing.

As a student, I’m a part of the Student Government Association as Treasurer and Public Relations Co-Chair, a Student Ambassador, and a Residential Advisor. I’m a member of two honors societies which are the National Society of Leadership and Success and Sigma Theta Tau International Nurse Honor Society chapters at my college. I’m currently in my senior year in the nursing program and plan to graduate in August 2021 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My dream is to become a travel nurse with a trauma or emergency specialty.
