Native Forward Scholars Fund offers a variety of funding opportunities for graduate students including MA, MS, PhD, STEM, Medical, Law, MBA, and other professional degrees.

Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC) Professional Development/Internship Funding

Status: Closed

Native Forward Scholars Fund, in partnership with the Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC), provides funding specifically for professional development and internship opportunities for Native scholars in Radio Communication, STEM graduates, and professionals. Typical awards for approved professional development and internship opportunities will be between $3,000 to $5,000.

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC) Professional Development/Internship Funding, the applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an enrolled member or a descendant of a federally or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native group.
  • Be participating in a professional development or internship opportunity with a focus in wireless engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, data communications, networking, mechanical/material science, emergency management communications, mathematics, physics, or a major in a STEM or STEM-related discipline.
