Native Forward Scholars Fund offers a variety of funding opportunities for graduate students including MA, MS, PhD, STEM, Medical, Law, MBA, and other professional degrees.

Golda Cook Scholarship 2022-2023

The Golda Cook Scholarship was established in honor of the life of Golda Cook (1913–2005) and her ongoing support for United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY). Golda’s friends, family, and UNITY trustees made contributions to establish the Golda Cook Memorial Fund to provide financial assistance to eligible American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees full-time at an accredited institution in any field of study.

This program awards two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for one male and one female recipient. This opportunity is a merit-based award.

 

Requirements:
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Enrolled full-time at an accredited institution pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field of study.
  • Current member of UNITY.
  • Be below the age of 24 before June 30 of the year applying.
  • Attend the National UNITY Conference for the year awarded.
    Note: Travel expenses incurred by the recipient WILL NOT be covered by Native Forward or UNITY.
