Land Conservation and Indigenous Languages Scholarship 2024-2025

Status: Open
Deadline: June 1, 2024

The purpose of the Land Conservation and Indigenous Languages Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to eligible American Indian and Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and pursuing degrees with a focus in Indigenous languages, natural resources, land management, and conservation or cultural preservation. Applicants must hold a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This opportunity is a need-based award.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Be an enrolled member or descendant of a federally or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native group.
  • Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
  • Be pursuing a degree with a focus in Indigenous languages, natural resources, land management and conservation or cultural preservation.
  • Possess an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
