Bio

Ya’at’eeh! My name is Kaylee Begay. I am of Zuni Edgewater Clan and born for the Tangle People Clan, my maternal grandfather is of Red Bottom People Clan and my paternal grandfather is of the Red Streak People Clan. I am originally from Cottonwood Canyon, located in Canyon de Chelly, but I reside in Flagstaff; That is how I present myself as a young woman today. I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. My studies and interests include bilingual education and language acquisition. My goals include teaching in the Navajo Language. Ahee’hee (Thank you).
