Bio

I have been an active volunteer in my community since the age of 15. I began my first volunteer services at Little Axe Community Center with the senior citizens’ meal program, Meals on Wheels, children’s program, and food pantry. I continued to work there throughout high school and years later, I continued working with seniors through Meals on Wheels. I volunteered as an Activity Aide at Iris Memory Care until the COVID-19 pandemic. I am actively involved in other groups within our community as well. My favorite, and most humbling experience, was working at the Janssen vaccine event in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to help vaccinate over 960 people at our local Indian health service clinic. Once I complete my degree, I plan to volunteer as a nurse throughout our community.
