BIE Special Higher Education Program 2024-2025

Status: Closed

The purpose of the BIE Special Higher Education Program is to provide financial assistance to American Indian and Alaska Native graduate and professional students pursuing degrees full-time at an accredited institution in any field of study.

The number of awards and award amounts varies from year to year based on the number of qualified applicants and funding. This opportunity is a need-based award.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Be an enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native group.
  • Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university pursuing a graduate or professional degree in any field of study.
