Jeanette Elmer Scholarship 2024-2025

This opportunity is provided to honor the life and legacy of Jeanette Elmer.

The purpose of the Jeanette Elmer Scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to eligible American Indian and Alaska Native graduate students pursuing degrees full-time at an accredited institution in library science.

This opportunity is a need-based award.

REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for this scholarship:

  • Be an enrolled member or a descendant of a federally or state-recognized American Indian Tribe or Alaska Native group. Priority is given to Tribes from Wisconsin, Arizona, and New Mexico.
  • Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university pursuing a graduate degree.
  • Be pursuing a degree in library science.
  • Be in good academic standing as defined by their institution.
